Our Team


Wesley Buchhorn, P.E.
Current Owner and President of Southeast Texas Engineering & Inspections, LLC. Wesley is a 2005 graduate of Lamar University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.  Wesley worked as an Engineer-in-Training for 6 years at a local engineering company designing wooden structures, steel structures, foundations, etc. and inspecting them to ensure they were constructed according to the current International Residential Code (IRC), International Building Code (IBC) and ASCE 7-05 requirements for windstorm certification.  He earned his Texas Professional Engineering License in 2011 as a Civil/Structural Engineer and is appointed by the Texas Department of Insurance to perform windstorm certifications of structures and components.

Tim Buchhorn, P.E.
Current Partner of Southeast Texas Engineering & Inspections, LLC. Tim graduated in 2008 from Texas A&M University with a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering. Tim worked as an Engineer-in-Training for 5 years at a local engineering company both commercial and residential structures (wooden, steel, concrete, etc…). Tim achieved his Texas Professional Engineering License in 2013 as a Civil/Structural Engineer and is appointed by the Texas Department of Insurance to perform windstorm engineering, inspections, and certifications of structures and components in the state of Texas. Tim specializes in designing and drawing architectural/structural drawings for all types of structures but are not limited to residential homes/additions, metal buildings, carports, patios, porches, barns, duplexes, apartments, bulkheads, boat houses, piling foundation design, beach front homes, concrete foundation design, elevator shafts, etc… Tim holds paramount the safety, health, and welfare of the public.

David Pancamo
Inspector, for Southeast Texas Engineering & Inspections, LLC. 4 Years Plasters Apprentice at Houston Community College. Construction Superintendent responsible for managing subcontractors and supervising high-rise projects for stucco and EFIS. Worked as an inspector for a local Engineering firm for the past five years for component and cladding inspections.

Teresa Weishuhn
A key player on the Southeast Texas Engineering & Inspections, LLC team and serves as the Office Manager. She is that smiling face you are greeted with when you come through our front door and that happy voice on the other end of your phone call. Teresa provides our clients with the personal service they need and helps maintain the administrative duties required for each and every project. She is the administrative liaison responsible for daily communication with our customers, contractors and homeowners and staff. Within the office she helps keeps the engineers and inspector up-to-date on the current status of projects and some of her duties include: coordinating and scheduling job appointments, handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing and submitting necessary paperwork for WPI-8 certification. Teresa is proficient in Quickbooks Pro and Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel.

Prior to joining Southeast Texas Engineering & Inspections, LLC, Teresa worked as the Executive Director for the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce for 13 years and as the Executive Director for the Hitchcock Chamber of Commerce for 8 years. During her 21 years of Chamber of Commerce service, she was responsible for fund-raising activities, event planning and presentations as well as the day-to-day operations of the office. She received numerous awards and honors including Woman of the Year – Santa Fe and Woman of the Year – Hitchcock.

In her spare time, Teresa enjoys travel, the beach and shopping!
